Parts for Every Element
About Us: Welcome to Toaster Stuff Where the boxy is beautiful and the weird is wonderful.Let’s get something out of the way: when the Honda Element first rolled onto the scene in the early 2000s, I thought it was the ugliest thing I’d ever seen on four wheels. And I say that as someone who’s seen an AMC Pacer up close. (Sorry, not sorry, Pacer fans — I know you’re out there. I just… don’t understand you.)I’ve been wrenching on Hondas for longer than I care to admit — starting with small engines like lawnmowers and string trimmers. (Yes, I’m that kid who disassembled the family mower for fun.) And yes, Honda actually made a riding lawnmower once. And yes, it could pop a wheelie — because of course it could. It’s Honda. They can make a blender that laps a Ferrari if they want to.From there, I moved on to motorcycles, ATVs, and eventually cars — naturally sticking with Honda, because they build machines that make sense (except the Ridgeline bed trunk — what is that?). But when the Element came out, I was not on board. It looked like a toaster. A big, plastic-clad, 4-wheeled toaster. Then Everything ChangedFast forward a few years. My uncle wanted to build a microcamper and asked me to help him find a good donor vehicle. He was oddly fixated on the Honda Element. I didn’t get it, but hey — family is family. So I did the research, test drove a bunch of them… and somewhere along the way, I drank the Kool-Aid.At the same time, I was staring down a double knee replacement and driving a manual Accord that required more clutch work than my legs could handle. That boxy Element, with its wide doors, upright seating, and surprisingly smooth ride? It felt like a recovery room on wheels.I traded in my Accord (and a bit of cash) for my first Element. Three weeks later, I owned three.Yes. Three. If you know, you know. Now? Let’s just say the number has increased. Some say owning an Element is like joining a cult. But if loving a big plastic box that can haul lumber, dogs, and dreams is wrong… I don’t want to be right. What is Toaster Stuff?Toaster Stuff was born from my obsession (fine — passion) for the Honda Element, and my growing realization that there just weren’t enough good parts, accessories, or resources out there for fellow toasterheads. From custom mods and mechanical guides to Element-specific parts and accessories, we aim to keep these beloved boxes on the road — and looking sharp while doing it.Right now, my main ride is a 2006 with an Ursa Minor E-Camper, and it’s getting some serious love: a 6-speed swap, a TSX-series engine, and probably more weird stuff I haven’t told my wife about yet.If you’re into Elements, microcamping, wrenching, or just like the idea of living in a van-shaped box, you’re in the right place.Have Ideas?Got a killer mod or part idea? Need help figuring out what that weird noise is? Want to swap Element stories? Get in touch! We’re a community of weirdos, and there’s always room for more.So whether you’re an Element rookie or a long-time box believer, welcome to Toaster Stuff.Let’s keep these toasters toasting.
